Participating groups
Representatives of groups that have contributed samples or data to genome-wide association studies of IA genetics.
Donate ↗The ISGC Intracranial Aneurysm Genetics Working Group brings together contributing groups to investigate genetic factors associated with aneurysm formation, growth and rupture.
The group collects information on patient background, intracranial aneurysm and genetics.
Its purpose is to identify genetic factors involved in aneurysm formation, growth and rupture, and to evaluate whether genetic information could contribute to quantifying risk of intracranial aneurysm and aneurysmal subarachnoid haemorrhage.
The working group sits under the broad umbrella of the International Stroke Genetics Consortium and also includes contributors beyond the ISGC.
Large-scale genetic research depends on trust, consistent standards and meaningful recognition of contribution.
Representatives of groups that have contributed samples or data to genome-wide association studies of IA genetics.
Patient background, aneurysm characteristics and genetic information considered together.
Project rules, data governance, attribution and consortium agreements shape use of shared resources.
Existing members can coordinate data updates; new collaborators can contact the management office to discuss participation and requirements.
